The terms, in plain language

What we promise: Your results are posted to your private patient portal within 48 hours of the moment you drop off your sample at the clinic. If you chose 24-Hour Rush at checkout (+$99), the promise is 24 hours.
When the clock starts: The clock starts at sample drop-off, not when you placed your order. Right after you hand your sample to the clinic, tap the “I dropped off my sample” link in your confirmation email or text message, or the button in your patient portal. That tap records your drop-off time. If you forget to tap, we use the time the lab logged your sample as received, which is never earlier than your actual drop-off.
When the clock stops: The clock stops when your complete, finalized report is posted to your portal and we have emailed and texted you that it is ready. A preliminary or partial report does not count.
If we miss it: If your finalized results are not posted within the promised window, your order is free: we refund the full amount you paid for that order, including any rush fee, to your original payment method. Your results are still delivered and stay in your portal. To claim, reply to any of our messages or use the Contact page with your order number; we check the clock ourselves and issue the refund, usually within two business days. Banks typically post refunds within 5 to 10 business days.
What is not covered: The guarantee covers the time between drop-off and results. It does not cover a sample the clinic cannot accept or that the lab cannot test (for example an insufficient or mislabeled sample), a drop-off at a location other than one of our listed clinics, or delays caused by information you entered incorrectly at checkout. If the lab needs a new sample, the clock restarts at the new drop-off. We will tell you if any of this happens.
Where it applies: Every test we sell, at every one of our listed Denver and Aurora clinics, every day of the week, including weekends. The lab runs seven days a week.
Changes: The guarantee that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout and in your confirmation email at the time you paid. We may update these terms for future orders.
